Canines are pack animals that love to socialize and be a part of a group. Dogs can act out if this need isn't being met, or if they aren't getting enough physical activity.
Thumbs Up pack walks go beyond buring off energy. Dogs practice recall, basic obedience, impulse control, and leash manners.
Whether your dog needs to stay on leash, or if they are trained to enjoy some off-leash time, pack walks are a great way to engage your dog in healthy socialization, burn off energy and excitement, and teach them to be calm and balanced pack members.
First Time Dogs
There is a $25.00 sign-up fee that includes a behavioral evaluation with head trainer, Emma Tucker. Emma will assess whether your pooch is ready for pack walks.
If your dog isn't quite ready for pack walks and requires training, Emma will give some package recommendations. Once your dog shows the necessary improvements, they can join pack walks without an additional sign-up or evaluation fee.
Please note there is a zero-aggression policy for pack walks.

Pack Walk Schedule
Walks run twice daily, Monday - Friday.
Morning Walk pick-up starts around 8 AM and goes until 9:30 AM. Dogs are dropped off between 11 AM - 12:30 PM.
Afternoon Walk pick-up starts around noon and goes until 1:30 PM. Dogs are dropped off between 3:30 PM - 5 PM.
There is a maximum of 8 dogs on each walk.
Depending on traffic or external circumstances, pick-up and drop-off may run late.
Pack Walks are currently limited to the Greater Victoria area.
Walks occur around different parks, trails, fields, and lakes in Victoria. Pick-up and drop-off points extend to Elk Lake area and Thetis Lake area. We do not serve Sidney or the Westshore at this time.
Rates
Rates include pick-up, drop-off and a vigorous 1 - 1.5-hour walk lead by a professional Thumbs Up Pack Leader.
The more walks your dog goes on in a week, the more money you save.
1 pack walk per week $26.00 plus tax
2 pack walks per week $25.00 plus tax
3 pack walks per week $24.00 plus tax
4 pack walks per week $23.00 plus tax
5 pack walks per week $22.00 plus tax
