Our safely structured on-leash pack walks are geared towards maintaining training, improving leash walking, and providing safe socialization that creates calm associations with other dogs.
Pack walks are great for fearful, over-excited, reactive, or happy-go-lucky dogs. All dogs will find a place in our pack and gain confidence in themselves — allowing them to be more confident in their interactions with the real world.
First Time Dogs
New dogs get a complimentary meet-and-greet with head trainer Emma to make sure they are ready to join the pack.
If your dog isn't quite ready for pack walks and requires training, Emma will give some one-on-one training recommendations. Once your dog shows the necessary improvements it can join pack walks without an additional sign-up or evaluation fee.
Please note there is a zero-aggression policy for pack walks.
Pack Walk Schedule
Walks run twice daily, Monday - Friday.
Morning walk pick-up takes place from 8 - 9 am. Morning drop-off takes place from 11 am - 12 pm.
Afternoon walk pick-up takes place from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Afternoon drop-off takes place between 2 - 3 pm.
Depending on traffic and external circumstances, pick-up and drop-off times may vary.
There is a maximum of 8 dogs on each walk.
Pack Walks are currently limited to the Greater Victoria area.
Walks occur around different parks, trails, fields, and lakes in Victoria. Pick-up and drop-off points extend to Elk Lake area and Thetis Lake area. We do not serve Sidney or the Westshore at this time.
Rates
Pack walks are $30.00 plus tax per dog and include pick-up, drop-off and a vigorous 1-1.5 hour on-leash walk led by a professional Thumbs Up Pack Leader.
Please note there will be a rate increase soon. Clients will be notified before this change is put into effect.
Does your dog need extra activity?
If your dog is especially energetic and requires two pack walks a day, they receive a special rate of $50.00 plus tax.
Have two dogs?
2 pups from the same household receive a special rate of $50.00 plus tax per pack walk.
